October CatchUp- pumpkin patch

Okay my friends.. time to play a little catch up!!!! It's been a month since I posted and sadly nothing too exciting has gone on. Typical October stuff.. you know- Halloween and all that leads up to it.
Rielly and I went with her pre-k class on a field trip to the pumpkin patch at the beginning of October. It was so darn stinkin cute!!!

They also got to go through a corn maze and take a little hay ride around the farm and at the end, we all got to take home a pie pumpkin. We both had a great time!!!

My poor kiddo!

This kid! She has had a run of tough luck this week. Like my previous post stated, Rielly came down with a kidney infection. It caused a real high fever, lots of pain peeing (standard UTI symptoms), throwing up, pain, etc... So the dr put her on meds to take care of that. Great. Knock it out. Done deal. The fever would go away and then come back and then go away again and then come back. It started getting real concerning so this morning when she had a 101.9 temp after 3 days of meds, I thought maybe we should get her checked out again. There has to be something else going on here. Also she was coughing a lot so maybe a cold but better be safe. So another co-pay later (man this is getting expensive!), they swabbed her and she came back positive for the flu. The dr said because of the test, most likely it is the H1N1 virus. Good grief!!!!
So basically all we can do right now is lots of fluids and tylenol and advil alternating every 4hrs. She did get a prescription for tamiflu but it's $70 and is only good for the first 48hrs and her symptoms are so mild now that I opted to just hold off.
Let's hope and pray this is the end!!! So much for her fall break huh??

Im getting ready to take Rielly to the dr. Poor kid has had a UTI for the last 2 days and last night started getting stomache pain and now has a 103 fever and throwing up everything! My poor baby!!!
So I fear it's a kidney infection but I'll update when we get back.

**update** turns out she did have a kidney infection and was pretty darn sick:( Her temp got as high as 104.3 and went almost 2 days without eating. Today seems to be so much better thank goodness!!!

My brothers tribute

He pretty much rocks for this (and I'll admit a few other things as well but don't tell him that..)

This isn't your ordinary eagle with a name... it has a lot of meaning to it. First the eagle- my dad collected them. Or well we collected them for him but he liked eagles. And the flag- he was in the navy for 20yrs (and my brother recently joined the military as well). And then the name... That is copy of my dads actual signature.. it's amazing! I love it!!!

Im sorry I haven't posted much lately. I'm just trying to tread water. There hasn't been much going on around here. There was lots of flooding in GA where we used to live. That was pretty nutty!

The good news is our house stayed dry! We were blessed since there was quite a bit of basements flooding and houses leaking in the area. That may have put a damper on the saleing process for us.

Speaking of saleing our home.. we haven't yet:( Lots of showings though. But no bites darn it! Please .. someone buy our house!!
