Happy Birthday Dad!

He would be 64yrs old today! Can't believe he's been gone 4 yrs now. Wow have things changed too!!!
I can just say I wish he was here to celebrate.
Then this past yr wouldn't have been so difficult and so full of change in our family... not necessarily for the better either. I don't think so anyways.

So Happy Birthday Pops!
I'll bring you some flowers when I come in November.

One Crazy Summer

I can't believe this summer is actually coming to a close!
I have gotten so behind on blogging and pretty much everything else because to be quite honest, I try so hard to stay away during the day!

We practically live at the pool. Well not just one pool- any pool we can get our hands on! My kids are so stinkin tan it's rediculous and even I have a little color these days. Who would've thought.

We're loving the house life again. Such a difference it has made. And man I forgot how much more there is to clean! So I'm ignoring all that right now.

I really don't have anything to great to write about. I'm unsure at this point where my camera is and my phone takes awful pics so I guess it's a good thing we haven't done anything document worthy.

Ohh we did go to the lake the other day. My friend Kristys family has a boat so we spent the day out there and loved every minute of it! Made for one very relaxing HOT day!

Kristy was kind enough to let Reese "drive" the boat for a bit. He had a blast!


We took the little boat out for a cruise around the lake. Good times!!!

Sorry ya'll that I don't have much else to talk about right now. Soon.... very soon!

Yup.. I'm a little nutty!!!

I have been training almost every day for the upcoming marathon here in Nashville in Sept.
I'm nervous and excited and anxious... because this is something that I'm doing only for ME! No one else can run this for me. No one else can drag my butt through that finish line. No one else but ME! And I want to do the best that I can do for my first time.
So since I'm doing all the work already, why not keep going and repeat it a month later?!?!?
I'm now also registered for.....



The Womens 1/2 Marathon in Tempe on Nov 7th!!!

All I can say is: YIKES!!!

And we're moved!!!!

It's been a busy last 2 weeks!!!!!

Here's a run down:

*kids day camp tues and thurs
*kids swim lessons tues and thurs
*a/c went out on van- kinda expensive
*went to GA to fix yard at our house there.. come to find out vandals had broken one of our glass doors (double paned luckily) and ripped off boards off the deck. And the lawn guy stopped coming long before we knew he did... so the yard was crazy and since we lived on a hill, took 5hours to mow! Awful day that was.
*4th of July!
*pack to move
*move into a HOUSE! (we are SOOOO not apartment people)
*clean apartment (still working on that)
*unpack house (really still working on that)
*still haven't sold GA house
*trying to find time to work on this marathon biz

And now to the present!

Life is good.. I got a piano the day after we moved in. Growing up in a musical family, a piano just was always there. So to me, I don't feel at home w/out one.
So our home is complete for now. Another little addition would be nice but for now, we are good.

I have a scrapbook room again too!!!! And the kids have their own room. And our master bedroom is huge. And it just seems like after such a run of crummy luck lately, we are on a roll to bigger and better things!
