I did it

I turned 30!!!! How did that happen? It's amazing how many changes I have gone through in the last 10 yrs! Married at 21, moved to California at 21, had first baby at 23, second baby at 25, dad died at 26, moved across country at 26, bought first home at 26, moved to Nashville at 29... and now here I am.
We didn't do too much to celebrate since I had just gotten back from Az and just wanted to spend time with my family so we went to Longhorn Steak House (YUMMM), and I got a Garmin GPS (Love it SOO much!) and my favorite carrot cake! It was a nice way to get older!!

Az trip round 1

Halloween weekend, I took a trip to Az (non refundable tickets- postponed wedding- blah blah blah) by myself to visit some friends and family. It was quick and fun and not all too eventful- I really missed my little family back in Nashville. I realized during this trip that while I can be independant on my own, my true independance is being with my family. Not sure if that makes sense but they are what makes me truely happy.

But anyways here's some pics from that weekend. It was fun being able to enjoy Mistis wards trunk or treat, going to Safford and hanging out with Anna, having a surprise party dinner with family and meet my moms fiance Hal, shop and just having plenty of time to think.

Here I am with little Madison- Ambers baby. Quite the monkey!!

I took a bunch more pics but just wanted to throw these on here because we're going back next weekend for my moms actual wedding and I'm sure I'll be taking tons more. We're very excited for the kids to finally be able to spend time with their cousins and aunts and uncles-- they haven't been back in quite a long time!!!
The same day my mom is getting married, my grandma LaRue is also getting married so we'll be able to see it all at once. Should be... fun. Stay tuned!!!

Trunk or Treat- Smith Springs Ward

Okay so I uploaded these pictures a little backwards but at least you'll get the jist of the party.
We had a great time at the wards trunk or treat! We all dressed up this yr! Reese is obsessed these days with Star Wars. Everything is about Star Wars. So we played on that this yr with Reese as OF COURSE Darth Vader (no masks.. bummer) and Rielly as Princess Leah. They were perfect!! Jon and I also dressed up. A group of couples from the ward decided to dress as characters from our favorite show, The Office. There's no doubt you'll know who we were!

Allison, Alison and myself! Timber and I

My Halloween family!!!

Have you figured it out yet???

My poor kiddo!

This kid! She has had a run of tough luck this week. Like my previous post stated, Rielly came down with a kidney infection. It caused a real high fever, lots of pain peeing (standard UTI symptoms), throwing up, pain, etc... So the dr put her on meds to take care of that. Great. Knock it out. Done deal. The fever would go away and then come back and then go away again and then come back. It started getting real concerning so this morning when she had a 101.9 temp after 3 days of meds, I thought maybe we should get her checked out again. There has to be something else going on here. Also she was coughing a lot so maybe a cold but better be safe. So another co-pay later (man this is getting expensive!), they swabbed her and she came back positive for the flu. The dr said because of the test, most likely it is the H1N1 virus. Good grief!!!!
So basically all we can do right now is lots of fluids and tylenol and advil alternating every 4hrs. She did get a prescription for tamiflu but it's $70 and is only good for the first 48hrs and her symptoms are so mild now that I opted to just hold off.
Let's hope and pray this is the end!!! So much for her fall break huh??
